Lauren Ash

  Lauren Elizabeth Ash (born February 4 1983) is a Canadian comedian and actress based in Los Angeles, but originally from Belleville, Ontario. Ash is well-known among the television audience for her performance as Dina Fox in the sitcom Superstore. She is also a graduate of the Second City Toronto Mainstage and Second City Chicago mainstage and is part of the sketch comedy duo "Cory!" She is a twice Canadian Comedy Award winner for Best Female Improviser in 2006 and 2007 . She she also won the award for Best Performance by a Female Television Actress for Almost Heroes in 2012 and in 2015 won the award for Best Female Performance in the Feature Film in her role as Carol in the movie Dirty Singles. She also appeared in the"prank" show "Scare Tactics". Lauren hosts her own podcast "True Crime and Cocktails" alongside Christy Oxborrow.
